Nothing could be faulted with the villas. They were spacious and comfortable for all. The outside space was excellent giving everyone individual and group entertainment space. The tennis/football court was placed in an idyllic spot providing a very good usable facility.
The local information left in the villas was most useful and led us to trying the local cooking lesson in a restaurant in Maglian Sabina and the local restaurant among other things.
The cooking class was most entertaining and was hosted by a very lovely family who made everyone most welcome. The morning lesson and lunch was thoroughly enjoyed by all young and older.
The most local restaurant - Ristorante Belvedere 400 meters walk away - although very busy full of the local population - always a good sign - made us feel most welcome and comfortable and the food and service was excellent.

Overall we would highly recommend a stay at this venue and look forward to returning. The location is excellent for discovering a most beautiful relatively undiscovered area.

The location continues... read more to impress with beautiful views. The kids loved the pool and football pitch / tennis courts and it was again a great base for trips to Rome, Umbria and Sienna. Would highly recommend. The review states it is a hotel but we stayed in the self catering villa hence the options re hotel style aren't entirely relevant!

The lounge area was huge more like a town hall with 2 seating areas and a long dinning table in one room. There were 3 bedrooms upstairs (one en-suite) and one en-suite bedroom downstairs. My brother, finance and my nephew used the downstairs room. It was perfect for children. Outside there was a large Orning area where the family spent most of the nights catching up with bottles of wine and well cooked food. It was the most used area of the holiday and the garden behind was well kept and pretty, full of roses! The views behind into the valley were breathtaking. To the end of the garden there was a pool and that was simply divine exactly as the photo portrays. The views around the villa are breathtaking, the front and back and also by the pool can see a deep valley and small rural towns built on small mountains. The only negative points about the villa are the plug sockets aren’t quite right which means a standard EU adaptor you get from England doesn’t fit in majority of the plugs around the house. Also the upstairs shower is clogged with limescale. It still works but at a decreased power. This was a bit annoying being the only shower in the house

Overall the villa was Devine something you see on adverts. There were a few very minor details that could have been better but overall it was wonderful. We all agreed we would like to return again. Thank you for such a peaceful relaxing stay. More

We used Santa Cristina as a base and visited :... read more Viterbo,Palazzo Farnese in Capraiola,Bomarzo,Palazzo Ruspoli in Vignanello ( about an hour's drive) ; One day for Assisi & Peruggia ( 1,5 hours drive);The Vatican ;Villa Adriana & Villa d Este in Tivoli ( about 1,5 hours drive)
We enjoyed the Pizzeria next door and the restaurant Gli Angeli coocked two delicious meals for us ; Their sausages are a miracle !
The house was great , comfortable, the beds an invitation to sleep.
The silence is impressive and the view fantastic
I can recommend this place with all my hart and fondest memories
